7-5-08 Scott returned to Selinsgrove with the Beech Creek Racing team to run the Late Model Open on Port Royal's week off. The night started out well, timing second quick and finishing second in his heat by only a few feet. It was downhill from there though, as once again the tricky Selinsgrove surface troubled driver and team, ending up in a disappointing 8th place finish.
7-1-08 Scott blew a tire during qualifying at Big Diamond tuesday, forcing him to start at the rear of the field for the night. After racing hard to qualify through his heat, he had an ill handling car in the feature, and was credited with 18th. Saturday at Port Royal, he started in his customary 12th starting position, and fell one lap short of claiming another victory at the Juniata County oval, getting beat by Waylon Wagner.
6-22-08 Scott finished 14th in the World of Outlaws show at Port Royal, along with an 8th at Bedford Speedway on Friday, and a third at Port Royal on Saturday. The next race is with the World of Outlaws at Big Diamond Wednesday night.
